Short and medium-term projects, project-specific assignments, and ongoing support. Remote and on-site in Germany.
Functional safety (FuSi) encompasses all measures to minimise risks from malfunctions of electrical/electronic systems in vehicles. ISO 26262 defines the industry-specific standard for the automotive sector – from item definition through the entire development along the V-model to the release recommendation.
Developing systems safely and providing evidence. A pragmatic approach has proven effective, individually combining the customer's development environment with deep standards expertise. FuSi-Engineering focuses on goal-oriented and efficient processes and strategies.
The FuSi Manager coordinates and plans all FuSi activities in the project, is responsible for the safety case and the release recommendation. The FuSi Engineer creates the technical work products such as HARA, functional safety concept (FSC) or technical safety concept (TSC).
My focus is on ISO 26262 parts 2–4: Safety Management, Concept Phase (Item Definition, HARA, Functional Safety Concept) and System Development (Technical Safety Concept, System Architecture). Support for parts 5/6 (HW/SW) and part 8 (Supporting Processes) is provided on a project-specific basis.
Both. Project work is carried out remotely or on-site at the customer in Germany, depending on requirements. In practice, a combination has proven effective: remote for work products and alignments, on-site for workshops, reviews and milestones.
Depending on current capacity, onboarding within 2–4 weeks is possible. In urgent cases, even sooner. Let's clarify this in a no-obligation initial consultation.
Costs depend on scope, duration and type of support. Day rates for operational support or flat rates for defined work packages are available. A no-obligation initial consultation is free of charge.
